Susan and Lynn have had a busy weekend with a meeting of the Chanasa trustees all day on Saturday and the six monthly women's meeting on Sunday lunchtime and afternoon.

The Chanasa trustees meeting was very productive and many issues where discussed. Akuzike Kamwanja has been appointed as the new Development Manager and she will be managing the women's groups as well as doing promotional work and market research.  She will be working for 30 hours a week for 6 months.

At the Women's Meeting, the women discussed various issues and shared their concerns.  They were also introduced to Akuzike Kamwanja  and Judith Penchirwa, Chanasa Chairperson, talked to the them about deadlines and quality.  Everyone enjoyed a simple lunch made by Agnes.  At the end everyone went home by public minibus.
