In late 2025 at Maoni School, in Malawi, over the course of three visits, a total of 338 were given Menstrual Health Management Training and received Lotus Packs.   Click the title above for more information.

172 boys also received training. 

Two treadle sewing machines were purchased and these were delivered to the school for use by the mothers’ group and a group of school girls who were to be trained to make reusable sanitary pads.  The groups were also given materials to make pads.  Two sessions were given to each group and they were shown how to operate the sewing machines and make the pads and small cotton bags to store them in.

At the beginning of this year the groups also received business training with the aim of running a small business making and selling the pads.  This will be followed up after a few months.
